Glenn Wallace of Cedar Rapids won $30,000 playing the “Crossword” (purple newsprint) instant-scratch game. He purchased the winning ticket at Casey’s, 20 Miller Ave. S.W. in Cedar Rapids. …

DES MOINES, Iowa – A Linn County man recently won a significant lottery prize for the second time this year!
Edward Murphy, 50, of Marion won $33,333 playing the “Winning in 3′s” (blue) instant-scratch game. He purchased his winning ticket at Short Stop, 340 Marion Blvd. in Marion and claimed his prize at the Iowa Lottery’s regional office in Cedar Rapids.
This is the second time Murphy hit the top prize in a “Winning in 3′s” scratch game. He also won the top prize in May playing the Winning in 3′s (purple) game. …
