PETA has sent an urgent letter to Michael Hunt, owner of the Pet’s Playhouse pet store in Cedar Rapids, urging him to bar customers from using their credit cards to buy animals on impulse. Credit cards allow people to buy animals without stopping to think about how much care goes into a lifetime of looking after a dog or cat. Impulsively purchased animals often end up discarded or passed from home to home. …

PETA is stupid. Let’s ban cash also, it allows you to buy whatever you want! I could use cash to buy thousands of animals on impulse!
